Following the runaway success of goGame’s Oddbods Turbo Run endless runner game — with 8 million installs since February this year — One Animation’s twice Emmy-nominated global hit Oddbods has partnered with kids’ app specialists Weyo to launch a fully immersive, groundbreaking augmented reality face-recognition experience for iOS.

Bringing the highly entertaining and lovable Oddbods to life, Oddbods Oddlife delivers a whole new dimension in interactive tech and personalized game play. Built on Weyo’s award-winning interactive video and AR engine, and utilising the power of Apple’s ARKit3, Oddbods Oddlife lets kids engage in multiple immersive adventures as they become their favorite Oddbods characters.

With innovative features which intuitively educate and entertain kids, whilst at the same time supporting parents as they navigate the challenges of everyday life, Oddbods Oddlife guarantees parents are a safe, educational environment that they can trust.

“Bringing families together through inclusive learning, humor and play is in Oddbods’ DNA. Weyo have brought these values to life in a fantastically useful, fun and ground-breaking way,” said Sashim Parmanand, CEO of One Animation. “Our little fans are placed at the centre of a super fun and educational digital adventure whilst parents are given a toolkit that delivers interactive and useful ‘hacks’ to help with the rigours of daily life in a never-seen-before format.”

Baz Palmer, CEO of Weyo, said, “We are super excited to bring all the fun and games of Oddbods to families in a whole new fun and educational way. There’s nothing else quite like Oddbods and I promise, there will be nothing else quite like the Oddbods Oddlife app. Weyo strives to create super-fun digital experiences that families can enjoy and play together, and importantly, ones that parents can trust. This will be more super fun than ever! Having already launched our number one app, The Wiggles – Fun Time with Faces and on the eve of launching a new app for Sesame Street Yourself, which was just featured on stage at Apple’s 10th September event, we look forward to our next big adventure with Oddbods Oddlife.”

Oddbods Oddlife will be free to download worldwide on iOS starting November 28.
